High School in Durbanville
Fairmont high school was an installation designed to cover 80% of the schools daily consumption.
The installation was a Huawei 100kW inverter, with 282 x 335W Canadian Solar panels (94.5kWp).
The school load profile was monitored, and a design to cover 70 of the total load was design. As the school is only partially operational at night, the system feeds back excess power during the weekend and holiday.
Installed in 2021.
